literature.
bart allen. i write bart across a variety of timelines, but his default is as a college student / titan. he remains as impulse despite having grown up a teeny tiny bit. i do not acknowledge "bart" from the new 52, and i'm awaiting to see what impulsepoint produces. my hopes aren't high, though. pietro maximoff. pietro is roma and i wont write him against white washed wandas, none negotiable. my portrayal is strictly 616 and cherry picked af. pietro spends more time as an x-man than an avenger. primarily as a member of x-factor with his sister lorna. damian wayne. my portrayal is mostly pre new 52, and any canon in prime earth is super cherry picked. morrison's original batman & robin run is my default canon.
tv & films.
taichi yagami. default verse is post kizuna. as far as i'm concerned, taichi's 25 years epilogue does not exist. whilst he does still engage with the digital world via koushiro, and the younger kids who still have their mons. it is often very bittersweet for him, and he is simply trying to move on with his life at college. he owns a silver tabby cat named sakura. thomasin. she's pretty much immortal now, so she's very adaptable to many fandoms. but, yeah, she is evil, so i'd bear that in mind when dealing with her. she's a favourite of the devils. kylo ren. he is a dark character and i wont shy from that. i would refer to my old kylo blog to truly get a grasp on how i write him. he is my gothic literature creature. han and leia apologists need not apply. spike. i do not and will not acknowledge the attempt to s/a buffy. as far as i'm concerned that was joss whedon letting his dislike of spike bleeding through. yes, spike did some weird shit, including the buffy bot. but to make him an attempted rapist is going too far. it's ooc for a man we know to have been loving and kind to drusilla, even with the lack of a soul. nicholas scratch. nick killing himself to be with sabrina? um no. not in this house. if any sabrina's did want to ship with my nick, there would need to be discussion beforehand, as i'm not fond of 'good' boy nick. as for nick having been possessed by lucifer, love it. he's all shades fucked up after it. all the horrible coping methods included.
videogames.
squall leonhart. yep. i write squall as a homo, and a struggling one post ff8 where he's running an entire military academy. while he remains dedicated to the job, it is becoming clear that the stress is grating on him. byleth eisner. my byleth defaults to the golden deer / verdant wind route and it's epilogue. Though, byleth becoming the ruler of fodlan or the archbishop of the church of seiros can be jiggled about depending on context, muse and general feeling. I also write Byleth from both the teacher and a student perspective. She can be a student or teacher in any of the houses, but once again, as a student, she defaults to golden deer. yuri leclerc. default post game verse has Yuri acting as queen / archbishop byleth's personal spy, where he investigates potential threats to fodlans newfound peace, and includes keeping an eye on the noble families of the region. He remains in abyss which nowadays is better looked after thank to his and byleth's efforts. When he is away on "business," abyss is overseen by Byleth or shamir, the latter who is also a spy for Byleth.
